In Car Encoder

The Streamur 6 in our car encoder which is a combination of high quality video encoder and industrial hardware. The Streamur 6 modem has by default 3 x  3G/4G radio modules (upgradable to 8), WiFi and RS485. Supporting both HDMI and SDI camera's and analogue via an converter the Streamur 6 delivers a complete solution for video surveillance vehicles and stand alone set-ups.

Bonding powers

The Streamur 6 can multiplex up to 8 connections, which can be a combination of 3G/4G/WiFi/Fixed IP/CDMA2000 or any other technology. The Streamur 6 provides by default HD-HDMI and SDI input and analogue video and audio input via separate converter. The Streamur 6 encodes the video dynamically with H.264 in combination with AAC audio. The adaptive encoded video and audio is transported over the multiplexed connections. The system will provide video bandwidths between 150 kbit and 16 Mbit (capped) depending on available mobile bandwidth and auxiliary data send over as well. For remote control of PTZ camera’s there is an RS485 port available. Via an separate external display or via the build in WiFi access point from any smart phone, it is possible to monitor the modem.

The Streamur 6 utilizes the multiplexing Mplex technology to create a high data rate channel to deliver the highest quality video possible.
