EyeLink

Product Description

Ruggedized 4G Actioncam

The EyeLink is a bonded wearable 4G actioncamera which uses either bonded cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity to instantly allow you to capture and share video directly on Social Media or CDN’s.

On-board Live Sports coverage and performance monitoring

For live sports video the EyeLink can be mounted onboard any sport device like bicycles, motorcycles and boats but also directly on the athlete.

Besides live video the EyeLink can also capture performance data from the athletes like for example heartbeat, blood pressure, bicycle speed and peddling power via ANT+ and build in sensors. The EyeLink has built in accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Hygrometer, Barometer and location (GPS) sensors. With Bluetooth audio communication it can provide a two-way communication between the athlete and the coach.

Stream video directly from a drone

The EyeLink can be mounted under any drone using the standard mounting holes and uses the bonded modems to send over live footage directly to any social media platform. It provides standard IO to control remotely for example a PTZ or Gimbal. This remote control makes it possible to have a drone flying its preprogrammed course but at the same time still can remote control the camera to provide the required footage.

Security and surveillance

With its compact shape, and ease of use the EyeLink serves as a complete and robust solution for transmitting live video from the field to control rooms. Live video supports a real-time situation overview and helps to make tactical decisions.

Technical overview

The EyeLink offers two 4G modems and captures HD 1080p using an 8-megapixel CCD. It has built in batteries that provide 5 hours recording on the internal storage or 2 hours live using the modems. The EyeLink provides standard IO to control remotely for example PTZ or Gimbal. This remote control makes it possible to have a drone flying its preprogrammed course but at the same time still be able to remote control the camera to provide the required footage. It supports Bluetooth for audio communication providing two-way communication.

All the performance data is synced with the video and are both stored on local (uSD) storage and transmitted live as part of the video stream providing real time and frame accurate tracking of the athletes’ performance.

The video can be viewed on any player like VLC and Windows Media player but rendering the performance data requires a specific player which is provided free of charge.

Manage & Control of your video

In combination with the web-based platform the LinkMatrix it is possible to control, manage and administer all the WMT devices and connections. The LinkMatrix is multi-destination and makes it possible to publish the same feed on many platforms including Social Media and private CDN’s.
